Taylor and John Bassett are two brothers whose home world has become unproductive, so they decide to immigrate to the planet Saxet. Saxet is a newly discovered planet where cheap land is available. For those willing to work hard and endure hardships, a bright and promising future awaits. But, the paradise of Saxet is not without its problems and challenges, the greatest of which is the current political structure. The brothers become entangled in the strife and begin a revolution to force a change.
