Brigid of Ireland

In 5th century Ireland Brigid is a slave to her father. When he decides to rid himself of her, she begins a journey across the wild landscape to find her mother. She meets a mysterious poet and a kindly old druid who try to help her but is stalked by a man who believes she is the one legends foretold who will have power that no king or druid can control. Her journey brings her back to the place she began and reveals a secret that astounds her.
