Martyr

For college student Justin Mayer, a day that begins with a surreal dream gets infinitely stranger when he is transported to a post-apocalyptic alternate earth. This is the world of Chaer-Ul, and ancient deity who makes himself known through vision and riddle, and who seems to have designs on Justin. He soon finds himself embroiled in a holy war that he never asked to fight, and in which victory may only come through a sacrificial death – his own. As the final conflict looms, Justin seeks the key to this world’s mysteries and his own dilemma in a beautiful young rebel named Maya. In the process, he will discover who he really is, and what price he must pay for love.
